Latest Magazine – September Issue 15

In this issue you can read about the Royal Charter Storm that saw many shipwrecks at Morte Point, to the history of Barricane House in Mortehoe. I take a visit to Quince Honey Farm before it relocates, and had a great day and came away with some lovely honey! Read about Lancaster Bomber that crashed at Borough Valley, or William John Cousins who is remembered on the Mortehoe war memorial in the regular ‘People behind the names’ feature.

In the events roundup we had a fantastic time at the Mortehoe Scarecrow festival (ours was Mr MrGregor complete with his knitted vegetables!), the South West Birdman in Ilfracombe despite the rain was a great day. Plus much more.
